FLYBOSNIA Story

FlyBosnia was established in 2019 by a tourism investor, who already owns some of Sarajevo’s finest hotels. He realised that the tourism
development of the city was being hampered by the fact that there was no national flag carrier, and, therefore, very few direct international
flights.

He could see that those tourists who visited Sarajevo were enchanted by its many attractions, and wanted to open up this hidden gem to the
rest of the world. He also saw the potential for attracting international business traffic to this dynamic small country.

He, therefore, decided on a plan to set up FlyBosnia as an airline offering both scheduled and charter flights. He called on top industry partners
such as Lufthansa Technik and Turkish Airlines for their expertise, and completed all of the necessary regulations. In December 2018, FlyBosnia took
delivery of its first aircraft, an A319-100, aptly named Sarajevo. On 2nd February 2019 it completed its first passenger flight.

Since then it has successfully started direct weekly scheduled flights to Bahrain, and in September 2019 it will launch direct flights from
Sarajevo International to London Luton three times per week.

It also operates charter flights to destinations such as Tunisia and is open to more charter opportunities with tour operator partners.

It has now taken delivery of its second Airbus A319 and has ambitious plans for expansion. Next on the target list of destinations are Frankfurt,
Rome and Warsaw; followed by Riyadh, Jeddah and Kuwait.
